The US-Nato has 3 Options
(a) a full-out War w/Russia; (b) Wasting more $Billions & Military Equip to prolong the failed war; or (c) Make a Peace Deal Now and End the War
NATO is discussing what to do about Ukraine and 'whether or not' Nato-Europe will Fully enter into the Ukraine War with Russia -- when Russia launches an expected offensive in order to secure a larger Buffer Zone between Nato-backed Ukraine and Russian borders.
Note that Putin has already made it clear to the Russian people that Russia does Not want to acquire western Ukraine, because the Russian-haters in Kiev and in the western regions would be too difficult to govern. Though Putin would hope to see an end to the present far-right ethnic-nationalist government in Ukraine, or at least see that fair and inclusive elections are allowed in Ukraine. (Right now Ukraine is under autocratic rule and allows no dissenting or opposing views)
But as usual, European citizens and American citizens will Not have any voice in the Nato option to Go To War, nor will they have any voice in whether or not Nato continues to prolong the war... using European and American tax dollars - while reducing public spending on social needs. ...even though it's us average people who will be damaged by an escalated war, and have to pay for this, and endure the anxiety and the risk of being bombed in an all-out World War, ....just so that Russia will not be able to govern the mostly Russian speaking regions of eastern and southern Ukraine, or so that the current far-right Ukrainian government will get its chance to apply its mono-ethnic nationalist ideology of not allowing cultural diversity in Ukraine and not allowing any political dissent in Ukraine. (Europeans will be going to war with Russia, in order to uphold a far right, fascist autocratic government in Ukraine. It is merely Western propaganda that Ukraine is anywhere close to being a democracy).
The choices for Nato are as follows...
Option 1
Let Ukraine into Nato right now, and/or Go 'full board' into a War with Russia in Ukraine --with its Nato weapons, jets, missiles, and troops; even though this would risk a bombardment of European cities if Nato attacked Crimea or if the Ukraine Azov attacked Russian cities. Or, Go full board into a war with Russia --- when they launch a stronger offensive.
Option 2
Promise Ukraine membership in Nato, once there is some sort of peace agreement, while continuing to send various supplies of Nato weapons in order to prolong and drag out the war in a frozen stalemate, thereby continuing the weekly bloodshed and waste of US and EU money. Also note that Russia will probably welcome more equipment into Ukraine from US and Nato ... because it means they'll get to blow up more and more of the US and Nato's reserved military equipment.
Option 3
Make a Peace Agreement with Russia, which includes a 200 km Buffer Zone between the Russian and Ukrainian militaries, as well as a New European Security Treaty with Russia, and begin a new era of economic and global cooperation among the SuperPowers. Though, Russia would Not agree to any proposal that would still continuously threaten Russia with Nato-backed aggression.
So, will our governments choose to escalate into a full-scale war with Russia? (when Russia launches its expected offensive)
Citizens of Europe in America, ask yourself whether you really want to enter into a larger war with Russia over the conflict in Ukraine?
Would you really give approval to Nato going all out into a full war in the Ukraine conflict? Would you support NATO sending its fighter jets and it's Pilots into Ukraine, and sending more and more missiles to escalate the war further?
Such a decision is not only risky but very dumm. This war is Not worth it. It is not worth anymore bloodshed. It is not worth dying for. It is not worth getting destroyed for. It is not worth ruining our lives for.
Or if NATO doesn't go all out into a war with Russia, but keeps sending weapons and billions to prolong the Ukraine War -- then do the European people really want to waste more money on a failed War, rather than use those billions for it's social needs at a time of recession and inflation?
...and by the way, the present recession and inflation was caused by Nato and the US intervening in the Ukraine-Russia conflict and subsequently by prolonging the war in Ukraine.
Any NATO discussion regarding Ukraine should be discussing How to End the War and make some kind of peace agreement with Russia, and work out a reasonable security agreement with NATO and Russia that does not include ballistic missiles in Ukraine or continually encroaching towards Moscow. It is not Russia that has threatened Eastern Europe. It is Nato that has been causing security threats in Eastern Europe, because it is Nato that has been breaking its earlier agreements to not move right up to the borders of Russia with forces and missiles.
It is both realistic and humanitarian to End this War and Stop the killing. It is Not worth it to prolong this needless and dumm war. Both sides win with peace, and both sides lose with war.
So here is Option 4 -
Both sides realise that this war has ended up being a stalemate or frozen conflict -- Because both sides are directly facing off at the conflict boundaries, and neither side will be able to make any significant advances without high rates of troop and equipment losses and depleting artillery, and also because neither side can surprise the other due to satellite surveillance. Therefore, this war is a stalemate at its present boundaries.
So given these facts, what now?
Both sides might as well make a Ceasefire agreement at where the conflict now stands, then strengthen their security defenses, and let the residents of Ukraine and the annexed territories get on with living their lives in peace... with No More Wars.
In addition, both sides could agree to limit their localized armory to the same degree, and guarantee that neither side will make problems for the other side. Then from there perhaps getting along better and making more cooperative agreements.
Fundamentally, Europe and Russia are very close in proximity, and Ukraine and Russia are neighbors, and they all can help each other rather than hurt each other, and they all have to live together on one Earth and take care of the current Global problems --- rather than waste a lot of money on Wars instead of helping the poor people of the Earth have food and clean water and a safe place to live.
