Russia wants long-term security; not merely a ceasefire
Russia is rolling forward, while US-Nato-backed Ukraine has been LOSING for almost 3 years.
Realistically, there no reason why Russia will agree. They are presently rolling forward while the Ukrainian army is collapsing. Its time for a permanent peace treaty, and Russia is not going to give back any territory that it already has because Ukraine has no chance out of hell that will ever get it back. The war is virtually over. Call it a peace treaty or call it terms of surrender. The only reason that Ukraine would like a 30-day ceasefire is to give them enough time to get more weapons from Europe. And even that will not help in the long run. but just prolong the war and killing a few months more.
The Biden neocon war with Russia was hoped to destroy the Russian economy, wreck the Russian army, and make Putin leave office. But it Backfired. The Russian economy, military, and Putin's popularity all got stronger. The Biden Zelensky war is over, they Lost. Folks get realistic. Russia won this war and Ukraine lost, and all the crying won't help. Win a few, lose a few. Get over it. This isn't about who's right or wrong, good or bad. It's about what's Real, and the ya di ya ain't gonna change the blunt facts of war. So stop moralizing about this, and get realistic. This isn't Trump's war. Time to wrap it up. Ukraine has no negotiating cards to play, because They're Loosing! And been losing for almost 3 years, in spite of the 100+ Billions and all the weapons we gave them.
